Strong Brand Presence in Basmati Rice: The Company has established a robust market reputation through its flagship brand “Aeroplane,” introduced more than 40 years ago. Backed by a portfolio of over 40 sub-brands tailored to different customer segments, it enjoys a strong and recognizable standing in India’s organized basmati rice market.
Wide Pan-India Distribution Network: The Company operates an extensive sales and distribution network across the country, largely driven by its B2C business model. Its products are made available through general trade, modern retail, and e-commerce platforms, supported by a well-established distributor network that enables broad market reach.
Working Capital Intensive Operations: The Company purchases significant volumes of basmati paddy during the peak harvest period (September–January), which demands considerable working capital. Any constraints in cash flow or difficulty in obtaining adequate financing could negatively affect its operations.
Reliance on Procurement Agents: The Company depends on licensed agents to source quality paddy and does not maintain long-term agreements with them. Any inability to obtain the required quantity or desired quality on favourable terms could disrupt its operations.
